The idea

Most good husbands and dads aren't short on love. They're short on bandwidth.

The anniversary sneaks up. The gift gets picked at the last minute. You say you'll look into something, and then the week takes over.

Hubby Heroes is built for that gap. It isn't a lecture, and it won't do your relationship for you. It's a set of small, practical tools that make the thoughtful thing the easy thing: it keeps track of what matters, reminds you at the right time, helps you work out what to do, and helps you actually do it.

You stay in charge. The coach makes suggestions, and nothing is added to your calendar, your to-dos or your notes until you say so.

Who it's for

For husbands and dads who care, and want to show it more reliably.

If one of these sounds like you, Hubby Heroes was made with you in mind.

You want to get the basics right

Anniversaries, birthdays, the thing your partner mentioned last month. You'd like to stop relying on memory and a lucky guess.

You're running a family calendar in your head

Kids' birthdays, grandparents, school events, the in-laws' visit. Put the whole family on one calendar, with reminders ahead of time.

You're never sure what to get or what to say

Get gift ideas that fit what the people you love actually like, and help finding the words when you want to send something kind. You always send it yourself.

You want to grow, not just keep up

Choose the areas you most want to work on, like listening, quality time or pitching in at home, and get help with the next small step.

What it isn't. Hubby Heroes is a planning and coaching tool. It isn't therapy, counseling or medical advice, and it isn't a way to monitor anyone. It's your own notebook and toolkit: your partner doesn't need an account.

What it helps with

One place for the things that make a family feel looked after.

Here's what you can do with it, and what's behind each part.

Remember what matters

Your anniversary, birthdays, special dates and the holidays your family cares about sit on one calendar, with reminders before they arrive.

Keep notes on what the people you love enjoy and dislike, their love languages and favorite stores, so the details are there when you need them.

Plan the moments

When something is coming up, Make plans turns it into a call sheet: a timeline, places, people and a checklist in one place.

Ask for a first draft and edit it, or build your own. The to-dos link to the plan, so nothing gets lost.

Choose gifts, and say it well

Gift Lab brainstorms with you, starting from what they're into, and keeps a list of ideas. It works for your partner, for each person in your family, and for you.

Your coach can draft a message in your own voice. You decide whether to send it, and Hubby Heroes doesn't send anything for you.

Follow through

To-dos with due dates and reminders, and a daily agenda that pulls the day together.

On iPhone, a daily reminder can nudge you each morning, and your phone's own calendars can show up beside your family's dates.

Alerts on iPhone

Think it through

Write down what's on your mind (on iPhone, you can dictate it). Mark any entry private and it stays out of AI requests.

When an entry points to something to do, the app can suggest to-dos or dates from it, and you choose which to keep.

Grow with a coach that knows you

Name your coach and tell it what you want to work on. Conversations are saved so you can pick one up later. When you wrap one up, it suggests things to add or remember, and nothing happens until you tap.

What it remembers is yours to see, edit and remove. On iPhone, a short setup also lets you choose how it talks to you.

Look after yourself, too

You can't look after a relationship if you're not looking after you. Set your own routines and goals, get gentle reminders, and check in weekly. It's private to you.

On iPhone

Do it alongside others

The community is other husbands and dads working at it: shared wisdom, no judgment. Find a group near you, or start your own.

How it works

Start small. It does the remembering.

You don't need to fill in everything on day one.

  1. Tell it about your people

Add your partner, your family and the dates that matter. Start with the basics; everything beyond a name can wait.

  2. Let it keep track

Your calendar, reminders and daily agenda do the remembering, and let you know when something is coming up.

  3. Talk it through, then act

Ask your coach, plan an occasion, brainstorm a gift. When it suggests something, you choose what to keep.

Privacy and control

It's about your family. You're in control.

Here's how we handle it, in plain words.

  • You approve everything. The coach suggests. Nothing is added to your calendar, to-dos or notes until you tap.
  • Private stays out of the AI.Journal entries you mark private are left out of AI requests.
  • No selling, no ads, no messages sent for you.We don't sell your information or use it for advertising, and we don't message anyone on your behalf.
  • Sealed before it's stored. What you write is sealed with a key of your own before it's saved.
  • A lock for your phone. On iPhone, you can ask for Face ID (or your passcode) every time you open the app.
  • Leave whenever you like.Delete your account in the app and what we store for it is removed right away.

To be straight about it: this isn't end-to-end encryption. Our servers open what you've written to show it to you, and to put together the AI suggestions you ask for.

Questions

Good questions.

The ones we expect, answered.

Is it only for husbands?

It's built with husbands and dads in mind, and that's the voice you'll find inside. Your partner can be your wife, husband, spouse, partner, fiancé or fiancée, girlfriend or boyfriend.

Is this therapy or counseling?

No. It's a planning and coaching tool for everyday habits, and it isn't a substitute for a licensed professional. If you're struggling, or anyone's safety is at risk, please contact local emergency services or a qualified professional. In the US, you can call or text 988 for crisis support.

Does my partner need an account, or see what I write?

No. It's your own notebook and toolkit. Your partner doesn't need an account, and the app doesn't show them or send them anything. When the coach drafts a message, you're the one who sends it.

What does the AI see?

When you ask for a suggestion, our server puts together a short summary of what's relevant (your profile, upcoming dates, open to-dos, your recent conversation, and recent journal entries that aren't private) and sends it with your request to an AI provider to get a response. Entries you mark private are left out, unless you ask the app to turn that specific entry into suggestions.

What does it cost?

It's free to start, with a number of free AI actions so you can try the coach, Gift Lab and Make plans. Hubby Heroes+ is an optional subscription for more. We'll share the details when early access opens.

Where can I use it?

On iPhone and on the web, with one account, so what you add in one place shows up in the other. A few things, such as dictating a journal entry and the self-care tools, are on iPhone only.

How do I get in?

Early access is by invitation. Leave your email above, and we'll email you when your turn comes.

What happens to my information if I stop using it?

You can delete your account in the app. When you do, what we store for it is removed right away.
